2. Foam Arrays A brilliant new hands-on product to help develop deep understanding of multiplication and division The foam arrays are designed to carry the multiplication facts they represent on one side and the array images of these calculations on the other. Perfect for preparation for the Year 4 times table check, the 78 piece set (covering all times table facts to 12x12) can be used in a variety of ways, for example whole class active games where the image side is held up and pupils must say the calculation that goes with it. Pupils can be encouraged to make connections between multiplication and division facts by using these materials, thus cutting down on teaching time.
